Bespoke Vietnam_Cambodia|Victoria Mekong Cruise

From landing in Siem Reap to cruising the Mekong to exploring Saigon and Hanoi to cruising Halon Bay this was an extremely well organised private tour. Nothing was left to chance. The guides and drivers were knowledgeable, personable and professional. Accommodation was first rate everywhere. We have no complaints.

Excellent trip, fast paced, lots of time spent travelling between locations.
Would have been nice to have a couple of free days included so you could visit places not included on the itinerary.
Wendy Wu need to be more specific about their ability criteria as we ran out of time due to individuals mobility issues who believed they could cope with the given rating.

The service was outstanding in Cambodia as Sokly was our guide. He went above and beyond to make sure we were all of happy. However sadly the same could not be said for Khang, our guide in Vietnam. He appeared to not really enjoy the job. He used to sleep on bus journeys & even in a hammock at one destination. One lady had a fall & he showed no interest or concern. The meals although enjoyable were too big, wasting large quantities of food in such poor countries was distasteful.

The Kuala Lumpur Stopover was very enjoyable. The Stripes Hotel was located in a great area where local food and shopping was easily walked to. Also found the local daytrips I did with guides linked to Wendy Wu were excelent

I recently booked a tour by phone after conducting some research on the internet. The customer service person was able to answer my questions and this enabled me to make decisions during the call. This involved flight options and what information they required to secure my booking. I usually do things online, but had some questions, hence the phone call. It was clearly explained to me the next steps and I am now travelling on the Silk Road Explorer tour later this year.

I had interactions with three different personnel of Wendy Wu and they are all very polite, patient and helpful to me and my wife. Our questions mainly revolved around taking SIA airline instead of Cathay Pacific Airline because we wanted to stop at Singapore for a few days on the way back.

This was a very comprehensive, non-stop tour of the region. From the Thar desert to cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur and New Delhi, I visited palaces, stately homes, temples and forts - I even stayed in a 300 year old fort and several Heritage hotels.
Many unique experiences were had. The highlights for me were visiting the Taj Mahal and seeing tigers up close in Ranthambore National Park, as well as celebrating Holi.
However, I found the food to be bland and repetitive which was unexpected in the land of curries. Lentil curry, paneer curry and butter chicken featured at almost every meal.
